Warri Kingdom Closes 4th Coronation Anniversary with Thanksgiving Service

The 4th Coronation Anniversary of His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, concluded in a thanksgiving service at the King’s Dominion Palace Church. For Her Majesty Olori Atuwatse III, the day stood as a moment of joy, reverence, and gratitude to God Almighty.

The church gathered the royal family, esteemed chiefs, dignitaries, and the sons and daughters of the kingdom. In their company, Her Majesty joined in lifting hearts in worship and thanksgiving for God’s mercies and for His sustaining hand upon the throne of Warri.

She reflected on the journey of the past four years and on the grace that continues to guide the reign of Ogiame Atuwatse III. In her words and witness, the service affirmed a faith that the throne of Warri stands in divine wisdom and grace, and that unity, faith, and God’s blessings remain the true strength of the Iwere Nation.

The air was filled with hymns of praise and thanksgiving, and the people rejoiced in the blessings of this reign while embracing the promise of the years ahead. For Her Majesty, the closing words resounded with power and truth: to God be the glory for His goodness in the past, His presence in the present, and His promise for the future of Iwere land.

“To God be the glory — for His goodness in the past, His presence in the present, and His promise for the future of Iwere land.”
