Building Bridges for Access, Opportunities and Youth Development For Warri

Cultural Dinner in Warri with Delegates from Atlanta and St. Kitts and Nevis

Last week, Their Majesties, Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, and Olori Atuwatse III, hosted a cultural dinner in Warri for distinguished delegates from Atlanta and St. Kitts and Nevis — highlighting the role of dialogue in advancing development, expanding access, and creating opportunities for youth across communities.

From Atlanta: Robb Pitts (Chairman, Fulton County Board of Commissioners); Dr. David Joyner (Georgia Tech); David Rocker (The Rocker Group); Representative Kim Schofield (Georgia State Representative); and Judge Natasha Williams Yahnee (Fulton County).

From St. Kitts and Nevis: Honourable Samal Duggins (Minister of Creative Economy, Agriculture, and Sports) and Ms. Aisha Maina (Managing Director, Aquarian Consult Ltd.; Founder, Aquarian Oil and Gas). The distinguished Mr. Fela Durotoye and Mrs. Tara Durotoye (ROI) also joined the evening.

The dinner underscored Their Majesties’ commitment to indigenous solutions and youth empowerment, while reinforcing the value of cross-border collaboration. It reflected how partnerships built on trust and cultural exchange can strengthen communities, unlock opportunities, and contribute to Africa’s long-term development agenda.

Their Majesties expressed gratitude to the delegates for sharing in this vision of collaboration, development, and shared prosperity.

“Partnerships built on trust and cultural exchange unlock opportunity for our youth.”
