Leadership begins long before office. It takes root in the home, grows through community, and is sustained by policy. When girls are given the tools to lead, they transform families, institutions, and nations.

Her Majesty, Olori Atuwatse III, was pleased to join national and international leaders at the 6th Edition of the TOS Symposium (@tossymposium), themed “Girls Today, Leaders Tomorrow: Advancing Women’s Representation through Policy.” The gathering reaffirmed a shared vision for inclusion and the advancement of women in governance and public life.

Through the Royal Iwere Foundation (@royaliwerefoundation), Her Majesty continues to advance this vision by equipping women with entrepreneurial and leadership skills, fostering mentorship, and strengthening community voices that champion inclusion. The Foundation’s initiatives demonstrate that real progress is achieved when advocacy meets action and when opportunity becomes access.
As the world marks the International Day of the Girl Child, Her Majesty reaffirms her commitment to creating spaces where every girl can see her reflection in leadership and every nation recognises her as an equal partner in progress. Her vision remains clear: the light of every girl is the foundation of a more just and prosperous world.
