Empowering Children, Youth, and Women and Building Community
The Royal Iwere Foundation (RIF) has been at the forefront of empowering individuals and fostering a thriving community in Warri Kingdom since its establishment in 2021. Here’s a glimpse into their impactful initiatives so far in 2024:

  1. A Time for Reflection and Gratitude: The Annual Beginning of the Year Thanksgiving
The vibrant Iwere community came together in a spirit of reflection and gratitude for their annual Beginning of the Year Thanksgiving in January. Led by His Royal Majesty,
Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, the event served as a powerful reminder of faith, community, and the importance of expressing thankfulness.
  2. Inspiring the Next Generation: The Royal Iwere Foundation Hosts Groundbreaking
    Tennis Clinic

In a historic first for the Warri Kingdom, the Royal Iwere Foundation, in collaboration with the Warri Tennis Club and renowned coach Lawrence Kamouh, hosted a groundbreaking 4-day tennis clinic in January. This initiative aimed to inspire over 1500 children from five schools across Warri, encouraging them to explore the world of sports and discover their potential.
  3. Empowering Women Entrepreneurs: “EstablishHer Programme” Takes Centre Stage
Running across all Saturdays in February and continuing into March 2024, the Royal
Iwere Foundation’s EstablishHer Programme has empowered hundreds of women entrepreneurs in Warri. This four-week mentorship programme equipped them with the
tools and support needed to thrive in their businesses and family lives through workshops on:
Business Planning: Crafting effective business plans for sustainable growth.
Marketing and Customer Service: Establishing and maintaining a loyal customer base.
Financial Management: Effectively managing finances and ensuring business longevity.
Building a Healthy Community: Providing insights and strategies to promote
physical, mental, and social well-being within our community, fostering resilience and harmony among residents.
Love as a Tool for Collaboration: Facilitating discussions on the transformative power of love in fostering collaboration and unity within our community, emphasising empathy, respect, and mutual understanding.
And so much more. Led by distinguished facilitators, the programme fostered a supportive learning environment for participants to develop their skills, build networks, and gain the confidence to succeed in the business landscape. These initiatives showcase the Royal Iwere Foundation’s dedication to empowering individuals, fostering a strong sense of community, and building a brighter future for the Warri Kingdom.
